Report Types
Farm Plan (Field) Summary
A farm plan summary provides an overview of manure and fertilizer that need to be applied to each field. These summaries offer quick references that can be brought to the field.
Field-by-Field Reports
Field by field reports provide cropping information for each individual field. These reports include crops to be grown, fertility recommendations, manure quantities and nutrient analysis applied to the field, as well as fertilizer to be applied to the field in order to meet the crop’s nutrient needs.
Records Log
A records log tracks the current growing season records for each field, including crop yields, manure and fertilizer applications, as well as pest and management practices.
Soil Test Schedule
Soil test schedules track when each field should be soil sampled, keeping up-to-date with a three-year sampling protocol.
Manure Analysis
Manure analysis documents where your livestock waste is stored, how much waste is stored in each facility, and the nutrient analysis of manure for each waste storage facility.
Farm Nutrient Balance
A whole farm nutrient balance will be calculated to determine if the amount of farmland base and crop yields are sufficient to handle the amount of waste generated by the farm.
Vermont Phosphorus Index
Vermontʼs is the most comprehensive phosphorus index in the U.S. The phosphorus index, or risk of phosphorus loss, is calculated for each of your fields. Phosphorus risk is reported using a scale of very high, high, medium or low, and allows you to make informed soil and crop management decisions.
Risk Assessment
An environmental risk assessment is produced for each field. These assessments include nitrate leaching risk, flood risk, soil drainage class, and riparian buffers.
Manure Drawdown
Manure drawdown is a report that shows your manure volume allocation by field and waste storage facility. This report helps you identify when all volumes of manure have been applied to your land base.
Farm Summary
Farm summaries provide brief and general overviews of your farm’s operations, including your farm locations, livestock inventory and crop rotations.
