Created by Farmers for Farmers.
goCrop is a nutrient management tool that helps you develop, implement, maintain and report on nutrient management planning on your farm. It was created by the University of Vermont Extension to assist busy farmers with nutrient management plans (NMPs). Since 1913, the University of Vermont’s land-grant college has combined agricultural innovation with technological excellence to improve and sustain the livelihood of farmers. State environmental law requires most farmers to write, update and submit annual NMPs. Other farms use NMPs to support organic certification. UVM Extension recognizes how this process drains time better spent in the field. That’s why we developed goCrop.
goCrop was made possible in part by grants from the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (USDA-NIFA), and the Conservation Innovation Grant program in Vermont (VT-CIG).
